We are GigMasters.com, the number one event entertainment booking service based in South Norwalk, CT.
We are seeking a full time Web Application Developer to join our fast growing agile product development team. The ideal candidate is obsessed with creating high quality experiences grounded in solid engineering practices using the latest web technologies such as MVC, AngularJS, Responsive design and fluent interfaces. Our work environment is fast paced, high energy, and highly collaborative.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
You will work closely with other developers, building applications on AngularJS, WebAPI, ASP.NET MVC, the latest database and NoSQL technologies, and JavaScript Frameworks to build tools our users love. You will work with team members in supporting Customer Service, Marketing, and Sales with technical endeavors. You’ll be fully immersed in all aspects of Web development, coding the inner workings of our high-traffic site, our API, mobile apps and learn the art of high-performance database driven applications. You will gain experience with the best technology and tools like AngularJS, Responsive design, and the latest Microsoft Stack, becoming a better developer in the process.
WHAT YOU BRING
- BS in Computer Science or related technical field
- A collaborative work ethic and the ability to work within a self-organized, cross functional team
- A constant need to find and learn new technologies
- A passion for what you do
- A drive to get things done
- Strong experience using object oriented programming in a web environment
- 2-5 years of experience developing web applications
- Strong SQL skills
- Proficiency in both back-end programming as well as front-end: HTML, CSS & JavaScript
PLUSSES INCLUDE
- Experience on the .NET platform
- Hands on experience with an ORM (NHibernate, Entity Framework, LINQ to SQL, etc)
- Experience in Orchard CMS
- Working applications of your own
